Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized string (hash) from your email may be provided to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. You can review their privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible publicly with your comment.
Media
If you upload images (e.g., for testimonials or Qurbani receipts), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the site may download and extract such data from uploaded media.
Cookies
- If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These last for one year.
- Visiting the login page sets a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies — it contains no personal data and is discarded when the browser is closed.
- Logging in sets cookies to save login info and screen preferences. Login cookies last 2 days; screen option cookies last 1 year. Selecting “Remember Me” extends login to 2 weeks. Logging out removes these cookies.
- Editing or publishing an article sets a cookie (expires after 1 day) to store the post ID.

Booking & Payment Information
When you book a Waqf or Ijtimai Qurbani, we collect your name, contact number, email, address, and payment details. This data is used only to process your Qurbani, send receipts, and confirm your order.
We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties unless required to complete your request or by law.
Online payments are processed securely via third-party gateways. We do not store credit/debit card details on our servers.
Who We Share Your Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email. Apart from that, your personal data is not shared with any third parties unless legally required.
How Long We Retain Your Data
- Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and auto-approve future comments.
- For users who register (if applicable), we store the information in their profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal data (except their username). Admins can also access and manage this information.
Your Rights Over Your Data
If you have an account or have left comments, you may request:
- A file of your personal data stored by us.
- Deletion of your personal data (excluding data we are required to retain for legal or administrative reasons).
